About this course
The Mass and Load Restraint course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed for safely securing loads in vehicles. Participants will be provided with theory and concepts of how to secure a load to a vehicle, including the mass limits, legislation and the relationship it has with Chain of Responsibility.

- Roles and responsibility under Chain of Responsibility
- Weight limits for axles
- Vehicle dimensions (length/width)
- Restraint methods (direct, tie-down etc.)
- Load distribution
- Lashing angles
- Restraint types
- Dunnage
- Load shifting
