About this package
The Crane Lifting Operations Package has been designed for workers involved in crane lifting activities, load movement and lifting coordination within construction, civil, industrial and infrastructure environments. This training package combines practical lifting operation skills with supervisory knowledge to assist participants in understanding safe lifting practices, communication requirements, hazard controls and lift planning processes associated with crane operations.
This package includes nationally recognised training in RIIHAN203E Conduct Lifting Operations, along with additional non-accredited training in Supervise Crane Lifting Operations.
Course content
The Crane Lifting Operations Package covers planning and preparing for lifting tasks, identifying hazards and implementing risk control measures, understanding lift plans and safe work procedures, communication methods and standard crane signals, selecting and inspecting lifting equipment and accessories, and conducting lifting operations safely and efficiently. Participants will also develop an understanding of load movement, exclusion zones, coordination of lifting activities and applying safe work methods in line with workplace procedures and industry standards.

This package is suitable for workers involved in crane lifting activities, site supervision, construction, rigging support, plant operations and general lifting operations. Minimum age 18 years.
