How does it work?
The EWPA Operator Training Program or “Yellow Card” was created as the result of the EWPA working with industry, helping them to comply with the WHS Acts and regulation. This Yellow Card program was designed to ensure that the Yellow Card holder is trained in the safe use and operation of various types of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs or commonly referred to as EWPs). Training can include: vertical lift, scissor lift, boom lift, truck mounted and trailer lift EWPs (VL, SL, BL, TM, TL).
The EWPA Yellow Card provides ‘evidence’ of this training. The overall intention of the Yellow Card Program is to assist operators, employers, equipment owners and manufacturers to more easily be able to comply with the WHS Regulation. For more information:

6 hours (depending on class size and experience of operators)
Students will receive an interim licence on completion of the EWP Yellow Card Course which allows them to start operating the EWP immediately. The EWP Yellow Card Licence will be shipped direct to the students nominated address and should arrive within 1 – 3 weeks. A Verification of Competency (VOC) can also be issued at an extra fee. A Statement of Attainment can also be issued at an extra fee
