About this course
This 2-day program provides the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a high-level order picking forklift commonly used in warehouse and distribution environments. The course prepares participants to undertake the SafeWork NSW High Risk Work Licence assessment.
Course content
- Theory training on order picking forklift types, functions and operating capabilities
- Workplace health and safety responsibilities, hazard identification and PPE requirements
- Pre-operational inspections and workplace safety checks
- Practical hands-on operation in warehouse conditions
- Safe load handling at height and correct use of fall protection equipment
- Emergency procedures and safe shutdown processes
- Knowledge and practical competency assessment
Who can do this course?
SafeWork NSW requires that applicants are at least 18 years of age.

Successful completion of this course results in a Nationally Recognised High Risk Work Licence (LO) and Statement of Attainment
