About this course
The Telescopic Handler Gold Card is the nationally recognised certification for safely operating a telescopic handler (telehandler) in the workplace.
Course content
- Theory training on telehandler types, capabilities and attachments
- Pre-operational checks and safe operating procedures
- Practical hands-on operation using relevant attachments (e.g. forks, buckets, jibs)
- Load charts, stability and safe lifting practices
- Hazard identification, risk control and emergency procedures
- Knowledge and practical competency assessment
Who can do this course?
The TSHA requires that participants are at least 18 years of age.
What do I need to bring?
- Photo identification
- Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Participants will receive a digital TSHA Gold Card. A Verification of Competency (VOC) is also issued at no additional cost
