About this course
This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a bridge, gantry or overhead crane that is controlled from a remote control or pendant (not requiring a High Risk Work licence).

- Crane setup and pre-operational checks
- Safe lifting practices and load handling
- Load movement and positioning
- Correct use of lifting gear and attachments
- Communication protocols during crane operations
- Assessing load weights and stability
- Shutdown and securing procedures

Participants must be at least 18 years of age to attend this course.

Successful completion of this course results in a Statement of Attainment and Operator Card. A Verification of Competency (VOC) is also issued at no additional cost
